PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Shiboomi Business Accelerators 2002-Present

Currently serve as Assistant to the CEO of this international strategic business development consulting firm that creates and executes projects and companies around the world. The company develops projects from a concept and executes the necessary pieces from creating and executing the business strategy, financing strategy, and marketing strategy; building and managing the team; bringing-in and managing corporate partners; acquiring start-up and comprehensive project financing; etc to make each project and business sustainable and successful. Through this role, have worked in numerous countries globally to execute socially-significant private projects as well as public-private partnership projects that contribute to the economic development of a local nation or region. Have been a founding member of ten companies and have experience in the development of companies and projects in a broad range of sectors including healthcare, high-tech, biotech, consumer products, renewable energy technologies and production, , service businesses, real estate developments, food production, and large-scale developments. Responsibilities include conducting market and analytical research, creating corporate presentations, assisting in writing business plans, coordinating investor and client communications and materials, organizing and scheduling for CEO and other executives, managing administrative functions for the company, coordinating events, and assuring all of the details of our execution are achieved to the highest of standards.

Figure Skating Coach 1996 – Present

USFS certified, PSA insured, and CER Category A accredited skating professional. Have taught all levels and ages of skaters from Learn to Skate classes and beginners to National and International competitors, specializing in private, semi-private, and on-ice group workshops and clinics. All current students were raw beginners when I began teaching them. Currently a member of the professional staff of Yarmouth Ice Club and The Skating Club of Boston (SCOB).

Frog Pond Skating School, Director Fall 2008 – Nov 2010

Served as Skating Director for this high volume seasonal outdoor skating rink. Started new USFS Basic Skills Program and developed the new program, taught lessons to students of all skill-levels and ages, created promotional materials and marketed the school and its programs around the Boston area. Managed staff of twelve coaches along with my Co-Director, brought-in and managed clients, and managed and coordinated skating lessons. Directed, choreographed, organized and marketed three skating shows each year which starred a mix of Olympians, the top skaters in the US, as well as young learn to skate skaters from the community.

Cape Cod Training & Performance Center Summers 1999 – 2003

Assisted World & Olympic Coaches Evy & Mary Scotvold in training young athletes striving to compete at the national and international level. Specialized in advanced jumping and spinning techniques and choreography and developed and taught special on-ice training, technique, and conditioning programs.

Harvard University Figure Skating Club 1999 – 2003

Co-Founded the Harvard University Figure Skating Club in 1999 and served as Secretary and lead choreographer for the club from 1999-2003.

An Evening with Champions Jimmy Fund Skating Show 1998 – 2003

Served different capacities each year ranging from being a featured performer in the show to choreographing routines and serving as an executive assistant in the planning and execution of this Jimmy Fund benefit skating show.
